Video killed the radio star
Pandora are shutting out non-US customers. A damn shame, and probably not the last problem internet radio is facing. That said, I always thought Pandora was too technical - splitting down music to its constituent parts and reassembling them in an utterly mechanical way. Not enough emotion, not enough variety, particularly for us humanist types. [...]
Slow progress.
It’s been painful. Not the move. That’s been fine. Just the lack of internet. So much information to convey, so little time. Free 30-minute WiFi from the local pub just isn’t enough. I succumbed and decided to pay £13 for a week’s access. Except they don’t accept Maestro. They do accept Switch. Unfathomable.
