Twitter at ATP, anyone?
And people ask what’s so good about Twitter…
I had another Twitter-related thought recently, namely to encourage ATP attendees to sign up and use it. In a similar way to SxSW / FOWA / any other geek conference you care to mention, we can use it as a realtime virtual community, saying things like:
- “Band Of Horses are great, hurry over to the second stage”
- “Big queues to see Wilco, don’t bother”
- “Food counter behind the bar does the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had”
- “Party in chalet #145 at midnight”
Not exactly as important as Leisa’s recent experience, but still a useful ambient communication option. Don’t really know how to approach it, but I think it’s something I’ll try to spearhead. This is, of course, assuming that the mobile reception in Minehead is better than at Camber Sands…
