RSS feedVideo killed the radio star
Pandora are shutting out non-US customers. A damn shame, and probably not the last problem internet radio is facing. That said, I always thought Pandora was too technical - splitting down music to its constituent parts and reassembling them in an utterly mechanical way. Not enough emotion, not enough variety, particularly for us humanist types. Spurned Pandora users: now is the time to fall for last.fm!
I miss last.fm. I miss having a great record shop. I know London has plenty, but I’ve not had time to seek them out. Frankly, I still hear the siren song of Selectadisc and it still feels like adultery when I venture into an HMV.
