Reconstruct

Drive

Quick personal post.

dConstruct was, of course, marvellous, but I shan’t review it. My partisan stance and lack of liberty to pay too much attention mean that others have done it more justice than I could: viz. Twitter search, the BBC article, and Matt Balara’s review (although I disagree with his verdict on Jeremy’s closing session).

I’m keeping my head below the parapet for a while now. Partly this is just because I’m busy – undiminished client work and a few little sidelines to deal with – but I’m also feeling a twitch of jaded ennui. The last few months have been very kind to me, but I need to mix it up a bit. So I’m playing with a few interesting ideas for the next couple of months, after this refractory period subsides.

So yes, I’m a little pensive right now. But not unhappy. Really. Just reconstructing.
