Some thoughts on junior people on agile teams: I think they can fit in, but in the right role. For a start, I can see them turning sketches or paper prototypes into wireframes or working on user stories that are less crucial or "easier" to do (easier to get your head around). Or creating a pattern library and collecting examples that we can refer to to communicate interactive behaviour.

The challenge is: How do you make sure that a new, junior person understands what you want to achieve, your UX vision? Personas and stuff could help as a communication tool. Nevertheless you need a good senior person that is a good designer and a good team leader to manage the junior IA.
