About
I’m a user experience designer, meaning I try to make technology useful, usable and enjoyable. I work for Clearleft, a design consultancy based in Brighton, UK. I’m a regular public speaker and writer, and am currently writing my first book Undercover User Experience. To counter workaholism I play chess to decent club standard, support Cardiff City and have a soft spot for amaretto, typography and modern art.
The name? Yes, it’s Welsh. Pronounce it KEN-ith, with a hard th to rhyme with ‘with’.
This site
This site runs on Wordpress and is written in HTML5, for which I’m indebted to the talented Anna Debenham. It uses Remy Sharp’s HTML5 JavaScript fix to placate IE6. Social media icons were made by friend and colleague Paul Lloyd. Header font is Avenir, displayed through the magic of Fontdeck (coming soon). Portrait © Paul Annett. Everything here is my own opinion. Don’t blame Clearleft.
